Don't be sorry for asking. Repetition is great! I think that this might need to be addressed more formally than just in the forums though.
There are ways to turn a transitive verb like to eat (먹다) into an intransitive (먹히다) to be eaten. Or to boil 끓다, which is intrasitive (The eggs boiled), versus 끓이다, which is transitive and can take an object (I boiled the eggs). I am just using those two verbs because they are floating around here somewhere. Perhaps this could be an intermediate lesson...
