Don't be sorry for asking. Repetition is great! I think that this might need to be addressed more formally than just in the forums though.
There are ways to turn a transitive verb like to eat (먹다) into an intransitive (먹히다) to be eaten. Or to boil 끓다, which is intrasitive (The eggs boiled), versus 끓이다, which is transitive and can take an object (I boiled the eggs). I am just using those two verbs because they are floating around here somewhere. Perhaps this could be an intermediate lesson...

and "Eggs are eaten" is with the subject maker

And a more correct form of saying the two sentences is :

계란을 먹어요

and

계란이 먹혀요 ^^



transitive :
먹다
--> 먹(다) + [아/어/여 conjugation]
--> 먹어 +요

intransitive :
먹다
--> 먹(다) + "히" + [아/어/여 conjugation]
--> 먹히어 + 요
--> 먹혀요

목이 마르다 is the most appropriate. Since the verb ends in '르' it follows a little bit different pattern. 마르다 becomes 말라요.

So the expression 'I'm thirsty' is '목 말라요'.

안 기다렸다니까 : as I said, I didn't wait (quotation for emphasis)
나 오늘 거기 안 갔는데... : today I didn't go there...(and why did you go there?)

sometimes people say 이뻐요 instead of 예뻐요 but it means the same (to be pretty). at least in some cases - i don't know the context of what you are asking, so it might be something different.

but a good example of the difference in pronunciation of these two is to listen to 요리왕 by 슈퍼주니어-H. in the first verse they sing 내 여자 친구는 then shindong says 너무 예뻐요 then they sing 내 여자 친구는 again and eunhyuk says 마음이 더 이뻐요. give it a listen!

no, " 마음에 들어요" is used when you really like something. I think of it sort of like "it pleases me" 마음 is not just "mind" it also can mean your (emotional) heart.

And you might say "Yes! I love this." or "Yes! I like this."

That's the meaning of "마음에 들어요"
and of course, 너무 맘에 들어요 means "I love(like) it so much"

(that reminds me, why are there so many different words used for "heart" such as 가슴 [which also means chest], 심장.....do they all have their own connotations?)
