Let me correct you a little.

In this case,
How are those kimbab?
저것들은 김밥을 어때요?

저것들 = 김밥 so we just say "저 김밥은 어때요?"

How are these kimbab? -> "이 김밥은 어때요?"

I love Kimbab!! Do you?

It's really good, I was also happy when she made me some 김치 and 거보. I think is what she called it (2nd one)

Hey Tim,

I've been learning Korean on and off for awhile now. Usually when I have time to get a little practice in. My grandma actually has korean tv (KBS & Arirang) on her tv. So when i'm over there i usually watch that, even if i don't understand it haha. It does have subtitles though.

As for the Absolute Beginner Season 2, I have enjoyed it so far. Since i have been using the forum, the lessons seemed to have helped a lot. So I would give it a thumbs up , i like to share what i learn with my grandma and surprise her not only with what i have learned but what i bring to her haha. She enjoys learning a little more about how Korean is taught since she never really thought about the in depth grammer things. Even the particles you have as one of your first lessons she was interested in since she never really thought about how they were used just she knew how to use them. (The consonant and vowels making the difference)

I did enjoy this lesson too. I also have a book i take notes in too. I will probably be able to review it better once i've done more or finished the series. I'm not sure how the placement and everything fits together since it's still early. I have also been taking Spanish for awhile now, and French starting this year. They seem to move into basic sentence building early, but they are quite a bit different compared to Korean too. Since I'm not too far in the series I'll try to get you a better review later on. Maybe I'm trying to move too fast, but i would be looking to start basic maybe 'polite style' sentences. Or formation with haeyo or hamnida style. I do see basic sentence formation in this lesson, but basic sentence building in spanish and french are like present tense verb endings. Taking the verb gada-to go, and changing it to gayo. or meokda and changing it to meokeoyo.

Hope this helps (student point of view) try to give better ones later on when i know more about this series.

Great! a small mistake - 서(seo) not 거(geo); therefore, 어서오세요.

"Yes, you are correct!" That's why romanization can't always work in Korean; especially in writing.

사람&사람들 i thought 사람 could mean either person or persons ...
"EXCELLENT!" Yes, 사람 means either person or persons when you add number before 사람; for example, 두 사람 "two people" , 세 사람 "three people"... However, when you say, "there are many people", "many people" translates as 많은 "many" 사람들 "people" - 많은 사람들.

Okay. Here are my hints.
6. "How is coffee? / How about coffee?" "coffee" is 커피(keo-pi)

7. "How is Korean? / How about Korean?" "Korean" is 한국어(han-guk-eo)

8. "How is this Bi-bim-bab? / How about this Bi-bim-bab?" "this" is 이(i) + "Bi-bim-bab" is 비빔밥 = 이 비빔밥(i bi-bim-bab)

9. "How about this table?" "this" is 이(i) + "table" is 책상(chaek-sang) = 이 책상(i chaek-sang)

10. "How are the side dishes here? / How about the side dishes here?"
"the side dish" is 반찬(ban-chan)
"the side dishes" is 반찬 + 들(deul) = 반찬들(ban-chan-deul)
"here" is 여기(yeo-gi)
Therefore, the sentence goes like this - "here" + the side dishes" + "how are?"
Then, you can write...

Just one question after reading through answers

So with words like 이것 or 저것 you drop 것,
이 or 저 + noun(particle) 어때요?

And I don't need a particle when saying 저것들 어때요? Only if I added a noun.

How is this kimchi?
이 김치는 어때요?

Yes, you are right about "this" 이것 and "that" 저것 + NOUN.
for instance,

Just a couple of minor corrections:

hint: (yeo gi) & (jeo gi) - 여기 / 겨기

여기 / 저기

5. "How about my clothes?" 나는 옷을 어때요 ?

나의 옷은 어때요? lit: my clothes how are? 나(I, me) + 의(= 's after nouns - e.g. makes possessive) ergo "나의" means "my" and 나+의 is often shortened to just "내" (my) so you can also say 내 옷은 어때요

7. "How is Korean? / How about Korean?" - 한국사라은 어때요 ?

I think the question here is about "Korean language" not Korean people, so you would say "한국말은 어때요" or "한국어는 어때요"

8. "How is this Bi-bim-bab? / How about this Bi-bim-bab?" - 이것은 비빔밥을 어때요 ?

이 비빔밥은 어때요

9. "How about this table?" - 이것은 테이블을 어때요 ?

이 식탁은 어때요? or
이 탁자는 어때요? or

10. "How are the side dishes here? / How about the side dishes here?" 여기는 반찬을 어때요 ?

이곳의 반찬은 어때요? but 이집 반찬은 어때요? is a better way to say it.

이(this)곳(place)의('s) 반찬(side dishes)은(topic marker) 어때요(how are)?
이집 = this house, an expression more commonly used to refer to eating establishments than just saying "here" or "place"
