they are sooo talented and each member has there own personality and style

Taeyeon has one of the most powerful voices ive ever heard
tiffany has a really unique voice
jessicas voice is really feminine
sunnys voice is suprisingly powerful and emotional
sooyoungs voice is really cute
yoona is just cuteness personified
seohyun keeps getting better with every song
hyoyeons voice is really husky
and yuris voice is well rounded

in my opinion they crush wondergirls....no offence to all the wg fans out there

Two new boy bands that are "battling it out-ish" now are MBLAQ (with their song 'Oh Yeah') and B2ST/BEAST ('Bad Girl').

I personally am leaning towards mblaq right now, even though their new single is really, really repetitive. Guess I'm growing out of the cute pop boy band image (which is a bit more of what beast is going for, because they're pretty young and all.) Haha, I'll never be too old for suju though.

Also the relatively new girl group -->f(x)<-- with SM Ent. Their first single was LA CHA TA. Personally... I wish they'd promoted another one of their songs. Not very catchy unfortunately.

definitely more of a prog metal/rock fan but I haven't surrounded myself with a lot of Kpop yet, but Jpop I have a little (I've become a pretty big fan of Kotoko lately). Anyone have an recommendations for a guy who doesn't listen to too much pop music in general? Maybe more along the lines of Krock/Jrock? I know rock isn't really popular in Korea but I'm sure their are a few bands!

When it comes to Kpop though Kara isn't bad, attractive girls as well!

I think YG Entertainment is the best,
2ne1, BigBang, Se7en, and the artists other stuff outside their main groups.
Like GD & TOP, Taeyang, Bom, Dara, Seungri... Love love love YG.
2ne1 is by far my favorite though.

I also like IU a lot as well, though she's not a part of YG haha

Hi!! DD Seeing how my response is completely by FARLEY late, and you've probably already know about KPOP stuff, I'll still respond any way C:
LOL, my favorites are B2ST(Beast) and Big Bang. Seeing how it's 2012, I've found some new groups such as AA(Double A), B.A.P and MYName. Also, Jay Park is good too (: Others that I like by some songs are MBLAQ, 2PM, and Infinite DDD Hopefully I gave you new information XDDDD
P.S. A song that I AM TOTALLY IN LOVE with is Big Bang's tell me goodbye. Don't know if you've heard if it, but I love it C:

But they really do have good song. Have you listened to this song called 화분(Hwaboon: Flower pot)?

My favourite boy group is BEAST . All of their songs are nice&their vocals are really amazing too . I'm not saying it because i like them tho :p You all can try listening to their songs ^^ Their ballads are really nice although they are not a ballad group . You all can try listening to this song first i fyou all are new to them - "on rainy days"

If you're looking for Korean bands, then I recommend SNSD(also known as Girls' Generation), Infinite, f(x), Drunken Tiger,
K-ara and SHINee(which is my favorite ) All of them are really cool!

I love SHINee, B2ST(pronounced Beast) and SNSD a lot. But you can also try Infinite, Super Junior, Drunken Tiger, f(x), Big Bang, G- Dragon..... The list can go on forever, because there are so many good singers out there in the world of K pop!
