ㅒ has a sound of "yea(h)", it's like ㅐ (eh) with a second bar
The sound is very similar to ㅖ which is uㅔ with a second bar.
Just like ㅏ (ah) with a second bar becomes ㅑ (ya) or
ㅓ (uh, eo) with a second bar becomes ㅕ (yuh, yeo) etc.
Forget about romanji for Korean. While it is a good method in Japanese I think it has too many flaws in Korean. Also Hangeul is so easy to learn you should only use romaji if you don't have a Korean keyboard or char set available or the other person cannot read it.
There are several ways to write Korean in romaji and they're inconsistent.
