Of course I don't mind at all. There will easily be mistakes since it takes me several minutes to locate the right letters on the keyboard (I have to check my list all the time). It will be easier to buy a new keyboard haha.

Try this website to train your fingers with Korean typing! http://www.kidtaja.co.kr/

Well everything's in Korean so it's kinda hard to figure things out there, but basically try clicking on all the buttons, and you'll see some typing drill pages - it's simple but quite nice ^_^

I hope we can have our own typing drill software in KoreanClass101.com soon!!

Maybe you need to switch the coding to Korean.. try that and if it still doesn't work, please let me know.

It looks like the fonts within the Flash player are the ones not encoding correctly. The rest of the website looks fine. If the fonts were visible that website looks like a good one for 타자 연습.

Postby bemyduende » August 22nd, 2007 7:48 pm

my computer can't read korean which makes me really sad. it's just "mojibake" (japanese, ) Do you two know if I have to have the discs to be able to have my computer read korean. I went through this with japanese but then my computer friend just installed japan windows and it works.... oh what to do?!

If you are running XP go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Language Tab (at the top). There you should check the "Install files for East Asian laguages" box. Also, go to the Details button and "Add.." the Korean keyboard for the IME system. I think that should do it. With IME installed you will either see a bar at the top of your screen or in the lower right hand corner to the left of the system tray showing what keyboard you have selected. With the Korean keyboard selected hitting the right ALT key will toggle between the English and Korean fonts so you can then type in Korean. :D . Right-clicking on the IME bar will give you more display options, left-clicking letting you choose a keyboard. You can also install the Japanese keyboard there too so you can type in Japanese as well! You shouldn't need to install a language dependent operating sytem unless you are running windows 95 which you shouldn't be running anyway  . I think the instructions in the link above that Hyunwoo posted should get the fonts to display in the browser you are using.
Is this information detailed anywhere else in the forums? Perhaps this belongs in the technical section.
Anyway, Welcome and good luck!
