I've looked all these grammar issues up at various places, including here. I just wanted to ask a couple questions and have some clarifications..
So, as for 잖아/거든...
왜 극장에 안 갔어? Why didn't you go to the theater?
You could say:
나는 바빴잖아. <- This would be used to say "You know I was busy." and the listener actually knew...right?
OR
나는 바빴거든. <- You would say this if you wanted to let them know that you were busy, right?
---------------------------------------------
This has always confused me.. but I would like to know if it is right or not.
우리 집에 온 남자가 친절해 보였어요. = The man that came to our house looked kind.
For the '우리 집에 온 남자가 ' part... Would this be: "The man that came to our house"?
And, 우리 집에 오는 남자 would be the man that COMES to our house?
while, 우리 집에 올 남자 would be the man that WILL COME to our house?
----------------------------------------------
Lastly, something that seems so simple, but I can never seem to get the hang of it. ㄴ/는데.. Except, I'm not talking about used as 'but'.. But, the other way to use it.
This, I can't even seem to give an example, but I will try:
어제 비빔밥을 먹는데 정말 맛있었어요.
Yesterday I ate bibimbap, and it was delicious.
When exactly do you want to use this? To me, it always sounds like 는데 would be equivalent to a semicolon in English, like:
Yesterday I ate bibimbap; it was delicious.

Thanks for any help!! 감사합니다.
