Some mp3 files are broken (short)

Right now I'm going through the lower intermediate lessons and noticed that the mp3 of lessons 2 and 5 are finished after about 7-8 minutes. When I go on the lesson page and click on "play" or "popup", everything works well. Is this intended or is this a technical error?

This is weird. I just found out that although the files are indeed much smaller than the other ones (like 6-7 MB instead of 12 or more), the files are still full length. However, my audio player on the computer, Amarok just thinks these files are 7-8 minutes long and then stops playing them...

Anyone seen this happening? Any reason why some files are much smaller than the others?
