Oh cool....thanks so much for the link. I've had the text book that goes with this for a couple of years now, but never had audio to go with it. How wonderful to see this site. The book is pretty advanced, but I do like the Appendix and refer to it often (irregular verb charts, grammar index etc). You can get the book at amazon.com.

i have been trying to determine my korean level for awhile, and i understood everything i looked at in those lessons. i just want to know how many college classes i could test out of ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. it's not an easy thing to judge though, without taking some formal test.

try taking the TOPIK. or better yet, download the previous exams online for free and take them yourself!

First go to http://www.topik.or.kr and click on 시험안내 on the left hand side of the window. From there, click on 기출문제 on the right hand side of the window (icon is a manila folder). There you can download previous tests, asnwer keys, and mp3 listening portions.

i did that.

the beginner level was ridiculously easy for me, so i tried the intermediate and i wasn't able to understand all of it (it was WAY harder than the first). but that still doesn't really tell me, because like at this website all of the intermediate stuff is super easy for me.. so i was trying to figure out what college level i would be at, but i suppose that would all be different as well.

so there's no real easy way of telling someone what level i am at. i'll just have to have a conversation and show them? maybe that's the easiest way ^^
