how to use the different terms for "to be cold"

Hi ! I noticed there are different terms for 'to be cold'. I was wondering if there were different usage for them :
춥다 and 차갑다

춥다 is for describing the weather or the atmosphere of a place.

한국은 겨울이 되면 춥다.
추운 방에서 잤더니 감기에 걸렸다.


차갑다 is for the goods or things.

차가운 얼음을 넣어 시원하게 만들었다.
봄이 되었지만 아직 물이 차갑다.
