I can't understand the difference between 싫다 and 싫어하다. Can someone explain it to me ?

Thank you,

From what I recall, 싫다 is only used for first and second-person referents (i.e. speaker and listener), as only the speaker and the listener can directly experience the emotion of "dislike" in this case. 싫어하다, on the other hand, is used for third-person reference since neither the speaker nor the listener have direct experience with the feelings of another person. Actually, this is not at all unusual across languages - many show a split between 1st/2nd vs. 3rd person with respect to sensory concepts such as "to dislike".

싫다 is a 형용사(adjective) and 싫어하다 is a 동사(verb).

That is the difference.

Ex.

I hate studying.

나는 공부가 싫다. (O)
나는 공부를 싫다. (X)

I hate to study.

나는 공부를 싫어한다. (O)
나는 공부가 싫어한다. (X)
