Mother's Day

Postby usakorjb03 » May 10th, 2008 2:16 am

In America on Sunday May 11th is Mother's Day. For those who observe that day, what are your plans? Our Korean Church every year does something speical...last year was a church picnic.

Well being in Korea, Parent's Day was Friday!

Our family is kind of backwards by Korean standards. We live very near to my wife's parents and my mom is in the US. We are staying here! Korea is AWESOME!

We bought tickets for my wife's parents to go see a very very famous singer from their generation. I can't think of the woman's name but when they came home they were sooooo happy!

My mom is in the states so I will call her but we sent a Mother's Day card and got her some nice things. You know mom type stuff!
