Here's another word I would like to know how to use properly - "geurigo". I saw it in Newbie Lesson 23 (?) titled "Money, Money, Money". It wasn't really explained in the PDF and only referred to briefly in the audio track. Could I see some simple examples?

It's like beginning a sentence with:
"And, "

For example,
나는 미국인입니다. 그리고 책을 읽습니다.
I am an American. And, I am reading a book.

Yes 그리고 means "and"


And here are some other connecting words:

그리고 = and
그래서 = therefore/so
그렇지만 = but
그런데 = however, by the way
그러면 = in that case
