What is your favorite Korean beer?

A lot of people prefer HITE (하이트), but

I love CASS (카스). :D

Beer is 맥주 in Korean, '맥' meaning barley and '주' meaning 'liquor' :-)

오늘 저녁에 여동생이랑 시원한 맥주를 한 잔 마시고 와서 ^_^ 사진을 올립니다!!
( I had a glass of cold beer with my sister tonight - and this is what I drank :D)

Korean beers are not very different from beers in other countries but SOJU is something else :D It's very bitter for those who try it for the first time but... :D you can get addicted to the taste in time.

My favorite type of 소주 is the plain type - without being mixed with anything. Because if you start drinking 과일 소주(fruit soju) you can end up getting very drunk without noticing because it doesn't really taste like strong liquor because of the sweet taste. :-)

I like the "Sound of Vitality" slogan on the bottle. there are whole websites dedicated to goofy English phrases on Japanese clothing and such but Korea has some goofy English phrases too. While this one is not really funny, I am not sure how it applies to beer.

Yeah, thanks for the video ^_^

His name is 남현준 and he's one of the best-known new-school poppers in Korea :D He recently produced his own album but I'd rather he'd just stick to dancing :D He's so talented and work so hard to keep improving!

I don't really like Korean beer that much, its nice and its cheap but its a bit ehhh. The glory is in the labelling though, I love the "Taste of Passion" and the "Sound of Vitality". I tend to drink Cass, sometimes Cass Red, though Cass Red is a 나쁜친구.

소주 isn't as strong as it seems at first but it can be a 나쁜친구 too but I like the taste and I enjoy being in a 소주집. I love 먹걸리, especially the 막걸리아쩌시 that goes around in 신촌 and 홍대. I really like that soju mix, 오십주, that stuff is cool.

No, he walks around the busiest side streets with a case of makgeolli slung on his shoulder and offers a taste to anyone who passes by. He has a very distinctive personality, and I'm sure that anyone who's ever seen or heard him before would recognize him.
