Kids' News sites

One of the things we often recommend for foreign students learning english here in Australia is a program called 'Behind the News'. It's a news show on TV, but simplified for a younger audience.

Is there a Korean equivalent? That is, I'm looking for a news program, with younger-level language. Print would be great, but audio/video on demand or downloadable is OK too. Have tried searching, but couldn't find anything Any advice on likely search terms would be helpful too. I tried a few variants of 'Kid's news' in Korean, but no joy.

I don't know about video... the market for learning Korean just isn't there! But the 조선일보 does print a daily kids paper that has a website:

The news video program I was referring to here is actually made for Australian school children, not specifically for overseas english-learners. I thought the concept may have spread a little

Ahh... BTN! That takes me back! I remember back in year 6, when we were made to watch it every week and write a report. The first time teacher said "alright, we're going to stop class now and watch TV" we were all so excited, but after a few episodes we weren't so excited any more.
