입니다 vs. ᄇ니다

Hello. this is very basic but I am still confused about it.

When I am introducing myself formally, do I use 입니다 or ᄇ니다 because my name ends in a vowel. So would it be 대버닙니다 or 대버니입니다? Does it even matter whether if it is a vowel or consonant in formal?

Thank you for the help. I know this is very basic and I embarrassed to ask this, but I so confused about it and none of the websites I have been on before ever specified this. Thank you again.

Thanks for commenting. Regardless of whether your name ends with a vowel or consonant, you can simply add '~입니다' after your name. For example:

전지현입니다.
송혜교입니다.

In addition to what was said in the previous response, ㅂ니다 is a polite verb ending while 입니다 is the polite way of saying "to be." 입니다 has been conjugated with the ㅂ니다 ending, but ㅂ니다 has no meaning on its own and you'll only use it when attached to a verb.
