'나오다', which means to come out, is a combination of '나다'(to come out), and '오다' (to come).
You would usually use it when you are telling someone that you are coming out of a place/somewhere. You can also use it when something new is 'published/presented/(is)coming out'. For example:
집에서 나왔어요. = I came out of the house.
새로운 영화가 나왔어요. = A new movie came out. ('나와' is the infinitive of '나오다').
