Staying at girlfriend's parent's house

Postby popping_229719 » November 4th, 2015 5:45 am

Wanting to learn a few phrases that are common courtesy.

I know a few of the basics like:

잘 먹겠습니다
잘 먹었습니다

How can I say 'Thank you for having me over' (in romanization as well, please :)? And are there any other basics I should know? Thank you!

Hello!

Thank you for commenting.
When you want to thank your girlfriend's parents for having you over, you could say,
"초대해주셔서 감사합니다". (Thank you for inviting me over to your house).
This implies that you are thanking them for inviting you (and hosting you) at their home.
If you want to add that you had a great time, you could add
"정말 즐거운 시간이었습니다."(I had a very nice time).

Cheers,
Lyn

Thank you so much for the reply! Just a beginner at reading, so was wondering if my pronounciation was correct?
