You're welcome. I understand by "위해" you mean "for" but here it is not usually used like that. 위해 is used when you are going to do something on behalf of (for) a person, or when some action is going to fulfill a specific purpose (for the purpose of) or role.
Simply objectifying something with 을/를 is often enough to imply "for" when expressing gratitude:
예문들을 고마워요 (감사해요) Thank you for the example sentences.
and you can be more specific but notice that the expression of thanks comes after the object particle:
예문들을 주신 걸 고마워요. Thank you for giving the example sentences.
예문들을 적어 주신 것을 대단히 고맙습니다 Thank you very much for writing down the example sentences.
예문을 가르쳐 주신 것을 감사합니다 Thank you for teaching (me) the example sentences.
other times you can simply use 서 (implies reason -"because of")
가르쳐 줘서 고맙다 -Thanks for Teaching (me).
가르쳐 주셔서 고마워요 - Thanks for Teaching (me).
도와 주셔서 고마워요 - Thanks for helping (me).

just a bit more fun with "thanks:"
고맙다 - "thanks" (pure Korean word that expresses gratitude "고마움")
works well to express gratitude in tenses: past 고마웠어요 (was grateful), present 고마워요 (am grateful), and future 고맙겠어요 (will be grateful)
감사하다 - "do (give) thanks" (of Chinese origin (Hanja); expressing gratitude "감사" with "do" verb "하다")
the past tense of this is awkward and doesn't work as expected; however present and future tense work as expected without any distortion of meaning.
An added advantage is that "thanks" 감사 can be "offered" 드리다 (given) respectfully 예: 감사를 드립니다 -"I offer thanks"
