Verbs that retain their dictionary form -다

I've come to notice that in quite alot of song lyrics, they just use the verb ending -다

Like 2PM's song 기다리다 지친다.

What nuance does this ending give? and some verbs (descriptive usually) have -ㄴ added before the 다 (like 지친다 in the song title)

If you use '-ㄴ- or '-은-' just right before 다, like '지친다', it adds the meaning of 'now I am doing..''

So, 지친다 means 'I'm now tired of something'. Because it adds the meaning of 'now', it also emphasize that I'm much more tired than any other time.
That's why many songs on love use the particle with verb '지치다', because you'll feel so much tired and exhausted after saying good bye to your ex.

와 means 'wow' and 부럽다 means 'I envy something'. So, '와 부럽다' means 'Wow I envy (you)'.

미치겠다 literally means 'to be crazy.' So, Korean people use the verb when they are too much stressed. Also, they use the verb when they have nothing to say. But, please use the verb only between friends. : )
