Developing Listening Skills - HELP!!!

Hey

Does anyone have any advice or learning tips to help develop listening skills?

I often struggle to understand Koreans talking to me because they are so quick!!!!!

I recommend that you watch and study our video lessons everyday.
It will help you and you can improve vocabularies as well. I believe.
And there is the audio lessons for level intermediate.
It might be hard to listen them for you(I am not sure about your level^^;;;) but will be helpful for your listening skill.
At first, just listen them even though you don't understand them.

Korean dramas and songs will also be helpful with fun. lol

Hi .. just an additional note and suggestion:

1. Koreans do often speak very fast. In the early days of my study I thought it was just my lack of skill but as time progressed I realized that many Koreans speak faster than the average English speaker. If I were to estimate I would say they express the same meaning as English expressions in 10 -20% less time.

2. Watch k-drama a lot -- get DVDs and watch without subtitles.

3. Keep in mind that what you are likely to be studying now is standard Korean but there may be times when the people you are listening to speak a dialect ant that will be harder to understand. I am in Busan right now and I can attest to the fact that dialects can be very difficult to understand.
