512456 - Hello! Thanks for joining us.
Yeah the 3 bears song is really cute isn't it? I enjoyed the 'Full House" drama also, but did you know that in it there is one scene where the guy says he is going to sing it like "an American" and he purposely messes up the pronunciation? That scene was, unfortunately, unflattering to foreign students of Korean and reinforced the stereotype that all "Americans" pronounce Korean poorly.
Early on in my Korean study I attended a Korean church and learned quite a few children's gospel songs, I also learned many of the secular children's songs as well. At first I didn't think they helped much with vocabulary, I was practicing them to improve my pronunciation; however, as time went on I discovered that I learned a great deal of vocabulary in the process.
I had just turned 24 when I started systematic study of Korean, so I can relate to your quandary with regard to learning little children songs at an advanced age. However, I think if you are brave enough to sing a little kiddie song in front of other adults you definitely possess the courage necessary to become fluent in a foreign language.
Much happy learning to you!
