Lesson Practice for Absolute Beginner Season 2 Lesson 1

Postby timandyou » August 2nd, 2010 7:33 am

A. Key Vocabulary
Please translate the following vocabulary into Korean.
Example - 1. "excuse me" : hint (jeogiyo)
저기요
2. "yes": hint (ne, ye)

3. "thank you in formal": hint (gamsahapnida, gomapseupnida)

4. "water": hint (mul)

5. "coffee": hint (keopi)

B. Lesson Focus: noun(s) + 주세요 (juseyo) "please give me..."
Simply put noun + 주세요 (juseyo) "please give me the [noun]"
For example - 1. "please give me some water..."
물 주세요
2. "please give me some coffee..." hint: "coffee" is keopi

3. "please give me rice..." hint: "rice" is bab

4. "please give me change..." hint: "change" is jandon

5. "please give me some love..." hint: "love" is sarang

If you answer them in Korean, that's PERFECT!
If you answer them in Romanization, that's good too.
Reply this post then, I will kindly assist and give you the answers.

Hello jerwinescudero6578,

Do you know an expression of 농당 (nong-dam) "kidding"?
You must know some of Korean already...
Do you have Korean friends? or Have you been watching a lot of Korean dramas or movies or music?

Thanks for listening and studying Korean.
cheers,
