It seems like basic sentences that indicates a [subject] that is [currently performing a verb] on an [object], follows this guideline: (assuming "[Verb]고 있다" means that a verb is currently being performed)

[Subject]는/가 [Object]을/를 [Verb]고 있다.

(I spaced it out, to make it easier to read)
