As for your question regarding how you write you name in Korean, like Colin said, you could write your name in Korean as '토마스', or if you go by Thom for short, '톰'.

I like the diet that a lot of Asia people from various countries eat. I think we could learn a lesson from them and stop eating what we eat to be healthier. Whenever I see this, I add it to my collection of foods to eat. I like vegetables. All of them in this lesson included. Now we know the Korean name for them. In response to people asking about their name in Korean and what characters are used. I know mine in several Asian languages, but not in Korean. Since several people have wrote about their names from different countries, how does it work in Korean using Korean characters. I know my name is written in katakana in Japanese, another language that I have been learning.

The English translation for:

시골에 가면 호박죽이나 전을 만들기 위해서

사람들이 밖에서 호박을 말리는 모습을 쉽게 볼

수 있습니다.

Says: "In the countryside, people dry pumpkins

inside the house to make pumpkin soup or

pancakes with."

Wouldn't a more accurate translation be: "If you go to the countryside, you can often/easily see people outside drying pumpkins to make pumpkin porridge" ?
