shaken identity

Postby iDoof » July 8th, 2011 9:23 pm

How does one say that his "identity has been shaken" (i.e. he questions his identity).

For example, if a half-Korean, half-American guy has a bad experience with some American people, you might say that his "identity has been shaken".

How would you express something like this in Korean?

Thanks!

Hi, iDoof. I'm Jaehwi from Koreanclass101.com

In that case, you can say '정체성에 혼란이 왔다.' (Jeongcheseonge hollani watda.)

정체성 means 'Identity' and 혼란 means 'confusion'

Literally it means 'The confusion came to my identity.'

I wish this would help you. Thanks!
