I think 구미호 is KC drama that has been playing on TV recently...

thanks tim. you are right - it is the title of a recent drama. the title, and the synopsis, made me curious. i found out on sunday that the drame is based loosely on a folk story. the folk story concerns a mgical fox, who is curious about, and jealous of, the humans. the fox transforms into a beautiful woman, and marries a regular guy. the guy gets more and more concerned as he notices his lovely wifes increasingly odd behaviour - particularly eating habits (like whole live chickens). the rest of it i didn't really understand - but it has something to do with eating the husbands liver. still not sure where 9 tails comes into it. ho hum. guess i'll have to watch the drama to see if i can learn more
