buying Korean books

Too late I started using the library that our Korean embassy's culture section has (free of charge...) and now I wonder how to buy books from Korea or Korean books.
Books in Korea are soooo cheap in comparison to Germany. I bought some books when I was there but since books are so heavy I couldn't take too many with me.
I might bother my relatives to send them to me via ship (takes forever, though) but I wondered whether it's easier to buy them online and let them be shipped to my house directly.
All the sites are totally in Korean, though (must ask a relative?)

Can anyone tell me how much the shipping is to Europe and whether it's more expensive than sending it via ship?

Maybe you know this site but I just discovered it and the prices are very fair!!

A book that is 8000 Won in Korea costs 15 EUR plus 3 EUR shipping.

Any experiences with ordering Korean books??

I'm not sure how much shipping would be to anywhere outside of the U.S., but it was fairly cheap for me when I ordered some books and shipped them to the U.S. The site I went to was www.hanbooks.com, since I can't understand enough Korean I had to find an English site. Don't know if that really helps but, there ya go.

I order many of my Korean books from Aladdin's U.S. website. (It is entirely in Korean, but I have learned enough to slog through it!) I think they will ship to all of North America. (Just Google AladdinUS.com and it will come up first.) Aladdin also has a Korea based website, but I'm not sure about international shipping. They may also have a European site too. Maybe Google Aladdin Europe or Aladdin Germany? Shipping books from the U.S. is terribly expensive now because 2 years ago our postal service discontinued ocean freight service (surface mail). Now, everything has to be sent by air. Ouch.
Books are much more expensive when purchased in the U.S. compared to Korea. (I think Seoul Selection is also pretty expensive.)

I've ordered books for my son from Kyobo to Australia. We're only up to reading kids books so we needed a little bit of help from a Korean friend to get us registered, but I have since done it by myself.
