Public Display of Affection

Postby the_haunted_boy » April 16th, 2008 10:26 pm

Where I am from it is frowned upon, but nobody seems to care and so they do it anyway.
What about in Korea? Is it still unacceptable?

Public Display of Affection is everywhere in Korea. I don't know so much if it's frowned upon, but it is very apparent anywhere you go.

Actually, Korea needs less public display of affection!! I'm sick of walking behind 닭살 couples who take up the whole sidewalk and walk really reaaaaaaaaaally slowly

*grumpy old man mode  *

Haha :D

Yes, but this is a very recent change.

The sudden increase in the public display of affection in Korea has happened so quickly but quietly - right now everybody's pretty much used to it, but back in... even just 1998, it would have turned a lot of heads ! :-)
