Sexism in Korea?

this is a little controversial but I was wondering about the Koreans approach to woman's rights/role in society.

I've been told that in Japan after a woman marries and has children it is extremely difficult for her to get her job back and chances are she will not be paid nearly the same amount as before or be given promotions.

My family often worry that by marrying a Korean man he will expect me to do all the house work and not contribute.
In my Partners household, even though he is old enough to take care of himself, his mother does all the house work. I find this a stark contrast to my household where I was gradually given more and more chores throughout my teenage life, until the point where I am pretty much in charge of all my own cooking and cleaning.

are most Korean households like my partners? or is that just how his family works in particular?

is a woman expected to do house work where a man is not?

What is it like for a woman working in Korea?

In the past, Most of woman's role were households.
However many women started to work outside the home, woman's role has been changed.
These day, many men try to help the households and care for children.
