"First, thank George for kindly replying the comment!"
Hello Sunny003,
You said, "chibal". Doesn't it sound like... "ssibal" 씨발???
I hope that you didn't hear that word "ssibal" but, if you have young Korean friends or if you like to see Korean movies, you might hear that word often - 씨발 "ssibal".
First, it's slang!
In Enlgish, there are many expressions used when feeling awful.
For example - "what the f***", "sh*t"...
"ssibal" 씨발 used when someone feels awful, very angry, furious, offended, mad...
Many teenagers in Korea often say that word.
If heard that word from one of Koreans, I do apologize to you.
If someone said that word directly to you, "I am sincerely sorry!"
When I was young, I used that word often. I didn't know nor didn't care for others. But, I am totally different now. I haven't used that word for years.
I do not recommend you to try to learn Korean slang.
It's good to know what they mean when you heard from someone but, you don't need to learn nor say them.
cheers,
Tim
