예비부부로

Postby imaBALLER » March 8th, 2010 11:31 am

Once again I was watching 우리 결혼했어요 and this word came up.

예비부부로 <- Couldn't find a definition for it, although I did find that 부부 means couple, as in husband and wife.

I wonder if Julia or another kind soul could come to my rescue and provide a definition.

CHEERS!! :D

예비부부로 typically means "beautiful couple" or "pretty couple"

at least in context if you were to say
참 예삐요. would mean "really pretty."

Hope this helps.

 NOOOOOO~~~~~~~~ 하하하 It's similar, though.

예비부부 means "to-be 부부" .

예비신랑 : to-be groom
예비신부 : to-be bride

A beautiful couple is " 예쁜 부부".

Ah in english "Bride to be". I had an idea that it might be something like that... I looked up the word 예비 and found it could mean "reserve", So reserve couple, but that didn't make sense.

Also they were talking about the engagement ring and what not.

Julia saves the day again. Cheers.
