하면 돼요 v 하게 돼요

I don't really understand how those two are working. Can someone explain to me the grammar behind those sentences? Thanks

타다 - get on (a car)

타면 돼요?
타게 돼요?
타도 돼요?

The first one is easy.
If I get on, is it okay? or Is it okay if I get on?

Second one is kind of hard for me since it's sort like an adverb.
Is it okay to get on?

Third one is also easy.
Even if get on, is it okay?

It usually sounds better in the negative in English, like "Is it okay even if I don't get on?", but I don't think it sounds wrong to say it in the positive.

Note: While I used a question mark to ask permission, if you use a period, it's giving permission, like for the third one, It's fine even if you (do) get on.

It works if one does something.

지금부터 열심히 공부하면 돼요.
You can make it if you study hard from now on.

지금 가면 돼요.
You can go now.



*하게 되다
It happens to do something

겨울이 되면 그녀를 생각하게 돼요.
It becomes the winter, she comes to my mind. (literally)

내년이면 졸업하게 돼요.
The next year comes, I become graduated.
