Unable to see the Korean Letters on Koreanclass101.com

Postby Caryol01 » December 13th, 2009 4:53 am

HI all,

I am sure I am not the only one who has this problem. My computer is from the US but I live in Korea now. It would be a great help if anyone could help me find a way to see the Korean letters on Koreanclass101.com. Also, I would love to be able to practice typing in Korean. Does anyone know how I can get my computer to do that? I have Windows XP.

Look forward to hearing from you!!

I love it here and would enjoy getting a chance to learn more.

Enjoy the holidays!!

C

You may not have East Asian Languages installed on your computer. I had to do the same thing. In XP, East Asian Languages is part of the Windows CD, but you must install it.

If you still have your disk, use this tutorial.

Puerton, you're in the wrong forum. Please visit the Tech Support and tell them your issue.You're having a site issue, not a computer issue. Technically both posts should have been in the Tech Support area. ^^;

Viewing Korean Letters

Postby Caryol01 » December 19th, 2009 5:44 am

Thank you Shadeylane,

Looks Like I have to wait until my next trip back to the US. Are you in Korea now and for how long if you are?

Thanks again!

C :)

It sounds like you're saying that that you have already installed Korean fonts on your computer, but the Korean text on this website displays incorrectly. Does it work on other websites? If that is the case, right click somewhere on the background of the page and switch the encoding to Korean. You can also find this option under the view menu, should you be using a mac with no right click or some obscure browser.
