-고싶어 vs. ㄹ/을래

Maybe I am having trouble deciding when I should use the appropriate one because the first word I learned was 죽을래 ^_^

I don't understand the difference between the two other than I think it sounds weird to say 죽고싶어...same concept, though. Could someone please explain?

Nothing different on the meanings.
Literally,

죽을래? means
"Will you die?" "Are you gonna die?"

죽고 싶어? means
"Do you wanna die?"

The first one has meaning of "I will kill you" a bit stronger.

There's a beginner lesson somewhere that explains the informal use of 래, that means to want. As in "집에 갈래?", it means "Do you want to go home?" Or 밥 먹을래?", Do you want to eat?

So 죽을래 means "Want to die?"

I think, you guys looked over something in your interpretations.

word translation:
죽다 = die (verb)
래= going to do/how about we do
싶어= want to

going to die?
죽을래? ("YOU" is inferred, same as with other verbs)
going to die.
죽을래. ("YOU" is inferred. with allot of other verbs, "I AM" is inferred.)

want to die?
죽어싶어? ("YOU" is inferred, same as with other verbs)
want to die.
죽어싶어. ("I AM" is inferred. you are saying you want to die and being emo.)

I was wondering about "좀 도와 줄래요?"

It's translated as "Can you help me?"

However, I've mostly seen 래 translated as want. Like "집에 갈래." means "I want to go home."

So would the translation be 'Do you want to help me (for me)?" or "Will you help me (for me)?" That's just what I'm kind of wondering about. And I know the "me" and "you" is inferred, but if I ask it as a question, it would be appropriate to assume that.
