Which one to use and when?

Postby littlraven » December 5th, 2009 9:19 pm

I was a bit confused about the differences between these sentence endings:
~(으)ㄹ까 하다
~(으)ㄹ 래요
~(으)ㄹ게요

I am wondering exactly which one I should use in different situations. Which one is most firm or intended? Which one is the most tentative? Etc.

So if anyone could help out it'd be really appreciated!

_(으)ㄹ까 하다 is the most tentative one.
It's a short for _(을)까 생각하다.

_(으)ㄹ래요 is the strongest one.
It shows only speaker's will.

_(으)ㄹ게요 is more soft than above.
This shows the speaker's will but also shows the care for the listener.
So it's more polite one.
