예쁘다 vs. 이쁘다

예쁘다 vs. 이쁘다

I hear it pronounced both ways, but often as 이쁘다. Does anyone know why Koreans pronounce this word differently?

Actualy 이쁘다 is a kind of slang, they prononce that just as we could say "gonna" in English.
But of course 예쁘다 and 이쁘다 got 100% the same meaning, just be careful to don't use the second one with persons you don't even know.^^
