Hello everyone!!

I'm thinking about learning Korean in addition to learning Japanese so I was looking over these forums to see what would be the best way to start.

Anyway, this topic caught my eye as I hear "sorry for my poor English" all the time from people learning it. I've got to ask, why would you even apologize for your bad (insert language) to begin with? Is this a cultural thing? I know my Japanese is bad, I'm still learning it!! No need to apologize!
