이서 and 라서 when to use

이서 and 라서 i was thinking that we can use both of them with any words but my korean friends told me that it depends on the word we want to use with however they couldn't give me the grammar rule behind it.

I am writing, again. coz it's been gone.

Let me take this example. 둘이서 / 둘이라서

여자친구와 둘이서 여행을 갔다. 둘이라서 행복했다.

"라서" is emphasizing "둘" in this sentence.

둘이서 행복하다. --> It means we all are happy.
둘이라서 행복하다 ---->It's more like we are happy " because we are together".


이것은 새것이라서 좋다. It sounds this is good because it's "NEW"
라서 is like "double quotation marks".
