hey there Roxy! Sorry no one has gotten to your message just yet - no need to fear!
http://www.koreanclass101.com/help-center/the-courses/ is a recommended course. If you are a flat out for real newbie, I would suggest the videos starting with
http://www.koreanclass101.com/2007/10/0 ... te-hangul/ to learn the alphabet (한글)
Even if you haven't picked up the letters yet, I like the newbie season one
http://www.koreanclass101.com/category/newbie-lessons/ just remember that they are posted in reverse chronological order.
Don't worry - I primarily listen to KC101 on my ipod too - not sitting down at a desk - so you're not alone in that. What I do is
listen to the lesson while jogging
when I get a chance, check out the .pdf
read the comments
post questions if needed
relisten to the dialogue a week or two later while jogging for comprehension
repeat!
Other than that, just listen to podcasts, read the comments, read the blogs
http://blogs.koreanclass101.com/ and ask questions in the comment box and/or forums.
Some argue that one should find their specific level and only listen/study on that level (Lower Intermediate, for example) while others (like myself) listen and study each lesson ever published (got a lot of time, what can I say?). My suggestion? Start lowest and work your way up from there in sequential order:
newbie season one
newbie season two (ongoing)
beginner season one
etc
Hope this helps!
