Gift certificate or something

Postby stevenwilson » August 29th, 2009 3:46 pm

I want to ask for an extention for my koreanclass101 subscription for Christmas. My parents dont know how technology works and they would not buy me something that cannot be physically given. So, I think you should offer a gift card.

have the gift card = 1 year normal, 4 months premium or 3 months premium plus. Have a code to put in, so that people buying the gift card dont have to find out the giftee's account information. I would have the gift card be convertable to any of the 3 levels of subscription, or else people might buy one that the person receiving it does not need.

shipping and handling would cost you like $1 to anywhere. The gift card would also cost $1 to make if you have it made cottage industry style.

thanks! :D

I second this! It'd be nice to have gift cards, physical cards or otherwise. That would be SO helpful, imho.

Personally, I like what the crew at livejournal.com have done with their gift certificates and paid-account gifts, but hey, as long as some kind of gift card/certificate is involved, I'm good. :D I also noticed people tend to buy a lot of these things (every person I know who has a paid account has also bought one or more for his/her friends. I did that several times this year).

I agree with this because alot of my friends are willing to pay for it. Its just that they dont have a way to pay for it. And i think this will be a good way to advertise this site more, and make more people want to korean because now they know their is a easy way for them to. :P
