Can a foreigner get a part time job?

Postby ellemenotree8960 » February 20th, 2011 2:02 am

I plan to move to Korea next summer for study, but I'm a bit worried about my financial situation. I don't want to be begging my parents for money, and I know the money I'm saving can only go so far. So my question is, can a foreigner on a student visa get a part time job? Or is that illegal?

Part time job

바로 Go Back Home이거든요...
best,

Thank Dr.Sean for sharing his opinion on this question...

I really can't say anything about this kind of question... (since there is right or wrong answer)
Here is what Dr.Sean wrote...

He said, "It might be okay to work some part time jobs".
I don't want to suggest you to do anything illegal.
It's hard to tell... or to give you any advice....

Where are you from?
One thing I can say to you is that... you can teach English at private schools or by having private tutor(s), which can make you some pocket money.
There are many people (parents) who look for good English (native) teachers.
I am not suggesting you anything... just telling you the fact that there are much demand for learning English in Korea.
cheers,
