I'll start off.
This is a photo taken in 2005 from half-way up one of the peaks of Dobong-san, a mountain north of Seoul. The rows and rows of high-rise apartment buildings struck me as resembling dominoes at the time. I think this image captures the juxtaposition of the fast development of Seoul with the still prevalent natural world around it.
This is a photo taken in 2007 of Cheonggyecheon, the stream that runs in downtown Seoul. The stream had formerly been polluted and paved over, but was restored into an urban park by then Mayor of Seoul and now President of South Korea Lee Myung Bak.
