can anyone tell me about any good korean rock bands out there. A couple that I think I like are Pia and Moon Hee Jun.

Nell (indie rock. Awesome), No brain.

I also like Mary Story, My aunt Mary, Izy (beware of Engrish), but they're maybe a bit less rock-ish and more pop-ish? Hmm. Dear Cloud and Cloud Cuckoo Land -both two of my favorites- are more indie, imho.

I suggest you go to last.fm and run a search there. You'll see lots of recs based on similar bands/singers.

I really don't enjoy K-rock, but there's a group I'm watching called Cherry Filter on Music Bank, not bad.

Galaxy Express are an excellent korean rock band. They play at club FF regularly and u can get their album from itunes. Its high tempo energetic music, one of the best live bands ive seen since ive been here.

Seo Taiji

His band is rock/pop/punk...fun to listen to and if you listen to his earlier albums he is very nu metal too. but before that in the 90's it was very cypress hill. i love it he's a mix of everything.

some rock songs to listen to Seo Taiji - Live wire, FM busineses, ultramania, T'ik t'ak, internet war, orange...so many...ahah

I love super junior at the moment but thats not really rock unless you count 'Don't Don' and "Knockout" as rock songs...they are pretty damn cool.

A few I came across today are The Rose, Drug Restaurant and Hyokoh. Only heard 1 song for each but they look interesting. 8)
