Did you know 안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo) means ‘hello’?
This greeting is similar to the English word "hello" and can be used at any time of day and in any situation.
However, when Koreans answer the phone, they don't say annyeonghaseyo but instead use yeoboseyo (여보세요) as the opening greeting.
안녕하세요, 여러분 (annyeonghaseoyo, yeoreobun): Hello, everyone.
