Got a KoreanClass101 subscription under a year ago…been trying to learn Korean since 2007. The podcasts are amusing, therefore easily taken in. If something is difficult & completely un-entertaining i will quickly become discouraged & stop. So with KoreanClass101 i was able to achieve consistency…my lifesaver.

I prefer to learn languages the way I learned them in school: Learn the alphabet, the sounds, all the rules, etc; however, it always took too long. Learning basic phrases was always frustrating because I never knew what I was saying literally, so I sometimes used the phrase in the wrong context or impolitely.

KoreanClass101 has a good combination of traditional lessons, as well as explanation of general phrases in quick bite-sized lessons, so I can go back to it whenever I wanted, like during my commute to work.

As an Absolute Beginner, I was sure it would have taken me a lot of time just to feel confident about the basics such as alphabet and pronunciation. But I set my goal up to learn Korean so I’ve started looking for some good tools on the Internet.

I purchased a daily Korean word app on my iPhone. That’s when it all began. I found this site to be very helpful in my learning process as it supports me through days when I want to give up. There are wonderful clips that walk me through letters (symbols) and words. The flip cards with vocabulary and the word of the day are my favorite. They give me something I can practice with my mother in law who is Korean. The site is very user friendly and my kids love the colorful pictures on the site as well.

I am currently learning Korean, with KoreanClass101.com. The first day I opened my account, and the first time I downloaded my first lesson,I was just blown away. I am a believer of immersion, I really believe to learn the language you must be present in the area. Still, that is a bit hard. But, when I am listening to my lessons I feel as if I’m learning in a Korean classroom, in Korea. Not only that, but the way of learning in a conversational experience is great. Alright, I could really go all day, I could even make an essay about my testimony, so I’ll try and make it short for all of you. It is a fantastic product. You learn at your own pace, you learn in a conversational manner, almost friendly, and you are being taught by Korean native speakers. Is there more? Of course, along with the language you learn the culture, politeness level, what is celebrated, and sacred. It’s perfect. The things you learn here, are things you wouldn’t start learning in your first week of language class. Yeah, I learned a ton of things within my first week, and when my Korean friends heard me, or emailed me, they were surprised and impressed. I even had other people ask me how I learned, and I directed them to this site. The way the lessons are structured is carefully thought out, you learn a little bit of everything, and just add to those as you progress. And this is where most language classes fail, they force you into learning one thing and learn more about that, when instead you slowly build on it. It’s like this, they give you a basic outline of the Korean language, from sentences, to culture, to politeness levels, etc. Then as you take in those basic foundations, and progress in your learning, you just add. Like learning the values of numbers first, before doing an equations, it’s that great. I think I’ve said enough here, all I can say is that it’s way cheaper than taking college language courses, very fun, and you learn at your own convenience, so no stress ^.-. I hope this enlightened you on how great this product is. If you really want to know just try it, and you won’t regret it! P.S. Because their product had me convinced, I decided to start learning Japanese with them, I know it will be great.😄

KoreanClass101 is the most innovative website for language learning I have seen so far on the internet. I prefer this website for learning the Korean language over the many others on the internet. It’s user friendly and everything is explained so easily. The instructors are also very easy to understand and the lesson notes that come with the video are extremely helpful for revising. Every time I study Korean using KoreanClass101, I want to study a little bit longer because it’s so enjoyable to use. This website has helped me with my Korean reading and speaking skills so much. My family members told me it would be difficult to learn a language by myself and yes I do admit that it is quite difficult but KoreanClass101 has made the process so much easier with their podcasts and videos.

There are many things I like about KoreanClass101.com. First and foremost, the format of the materials makes it easy for the learner to learn ‘on the go’. It makes those “wasted time” like waiting for the bus much more fun and productive. The podcasts are also presented in a casual manner which helps in keeping the learners’ interest to the topic discussed. The pdfs that go with it are also concise enough to give an overview of the lesson while not compromising the quality of information imparted so that you are not too overwhelmed. The lessons discussed are done in practical settings to avoid a very constricted “textbook” style learning plus it helps stick it to the learners’ memory AND encourages immediate use! And lastly, it allows you to learn in your own pace. I would highly recommend it to any serious learner of the Korean language. With this site, the sky’s the limit to your learning. You will surely learn fast AND actually have fun doing it. It’s so addictive!

Here’s how it helps me: after learning various lessons from this website, I was able to communicate ideas to my Korean friends. Although I maybe a beginner, I am able to express my basic expressions as in the past, I was not able to do so. Still a beginner and learned A LOT. I have to learn Korean because I need it for my future college studies (East Asian Studies). I don’t have time nor money to go to private classes. It has been about just under three years that I have been a premium subscriber to Koreanclass101.com, and a very serious user for one-and-a-half years and counting after living in Korea.

To-date I have completed about 580 lessons, giving myself a goal of studying at least one lesson per day, and making up for missed days later. I have never spent a penny on taking any formal Korean classes and have never consorted with other foreigners in Korea, only having regular conversations with my friends in person or via mobile messaging. I have been able to speak, read, and write with a lot of confidence!

This site has offered me so much more value than any formal classes would have given me, and most certainly much more than I have paid. They are fun, organized, and the facilitators are highly attentive to students and always answer questions. The repetition as well as scaffolding really reinforces all of the grammatical and vocabulary comprehension! In addition, any issues or complaints are always dealt with swiftly and professionally as well, really showing that the customers are valued.

Of course, this wasn’t easy. In order to maintain my independence and not seek help from others, I have been studying every night using this site for about five hours at a time, getting four hours of sleep every day before having to head to the office for a grueling 12-hour work day. It definitely requires you to be self-motivated and dedicated, and that’s what you have to be if you really want to get good value out of everything this site has to offer!

I am very thankful to koreanclass101.com. I’m a very interested language learner, and, after having gone to this-and-that sites out there for free, I have to say, putting it all under one site, combining different ways of learning (visual, auditory, etc.)–it works like a charm! And the reward system is great–you really feel like you’re accomplishing something!

I live in Alabama (but I was born in New York), and, unfortunately, cannot access many Koreans in the district where I live. However, I have found a Korean Church nearby, and they are always impressed with how fast I’m learning–thanks to this site! The only thing I would say is that one must find a face-to-face conversational practice in order to perfect this language; sadly, the Internet cannot replace talking to real people, face-to-face. On the other hand, the site has done a lot more for me than paying for any textbook EVER would!

And even if I get to go to college and take a Korean class, I think I’ll STILL use innovativelanguage.com to help augment my learning. Thank you!

I greatly enjoyed KoreanClass101, especially the audio lessons. The customer service was excellent. For the time I am pausing my lessons, but I fully intend to pick back up where I left off in the coming months. There was a mistake with my calendar and I did not cancel my premium membership in time and was charged. I explained the situation and was promptly refunded. I’m reviewing the beginner class and the alphabet, I had the course for little over a year but due to my wife illness I could not concentrate in my study, she been fighting cancer for the past three years and my US health insurance is not valid here, so I have to pay cash. The reason I like Korean language is because I love my Korean drama and the subtitle are very bad interpretation so with my Korea I enjoy more. I spent 60 days in Ulsan,and I love it. So I have to learn Korean.
