Hi Mo,
Thanks for posting. The difference is that one is a topic marking particle, and the other is an object marking particle.
We have a lesson series which will definitely be of help:

์๋ ํ์ธ์!
First of all I want to tell you guys that your lessons are so useful. Though, I am a little bit confuse when to use "์ด" and when to use "์". I think these words are similar. Please let me know.
๊ฐ์ฌํฉ๋๋ค.
Hi Paul,
Thank you for posting. There are two meanings for ์๋ค:
1. to have
2. to be
So ๊ฐ๊ณ ์๋ค would literally mean (to be (while) holding something), or 'having something'.
Hope this was of help.
Best,
Lyn

hello
i had thought that 'to have' is ์์ต๋๋ค. Why is there a need to use๊ฐ๊ณ in front of์์ต๋๋ค ?
Thank you
Hi ์๋ฆฐ,

Hi Kat,
Thanks for your comment!
Yes, you're right. [๋ค] and [์] can be used interchangeably.
Hope it helped!
Best,

I have heard ๋ค and ์ for yes. Is one more correct than the other? Thank you!
Hi Nisha,
Yes, really.
Spelling and grammar rules change over time.

Really? :open_mouth:
I didn't know that could happen.
Hi Nisha,
์๋์. ํธ๋ํฐ์ ์์๋๋ค.
-> ์๋์. ํธ๋ํฐ ์์ต๋๋ค.
Actually, ์์๋๋ค used to be the correct spelling until they changed it to ์์ต๋๋ค in 1989.
