Korean tourism ad

Postby Bouks » May 29th, 2008 5:39 pm

When I was watching ArirangTV last summer, they frequently showed tourism ads to attract visitors to Korea. Recently, I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the same ads on the Discovery Channel here in the States! I also found out later that Rain is the guy that appears in it. Here is the ad:

Nice to see it here! Now if I only had the time and money to go... :(
On Skype, I'm nenuphar_ (just like that with the underline character ending)

I am glad to see Korea doing some advertising. It looks like there are a bunch of "Sparkling" ads. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective), I don't watch a whole lot of broadcast television either.

I think it is interesting that the ad campaign would use a keyword that is difficult for Koreans to pronounce. 스파그링?
