There is one sentence I want to say in particular to a parting friend in Korean:
"I am really impressed with everything you've accomplished while you've been here."
What's a good phrase for this, something somewhat formal, as the person is older but not awkwardly over-formal...
In general I'm having trouble finding a good Korean word for "impressed"...I know it comes out in the dictionary as "인상적이다" but I feel like "impressed" in English has a wider range of use. "인상적이다" feels like a stronger expression, like I was super touched by something. But the English use of impressed can be quite casual, like "I was impressed by how well you did"...
Any insights are appreciated. Thanks to you all for your time.
