B. 수업 내용 "Lesson Focus"
The Focus of This Lesson Is to Express -하든지 말든지 "whether or not you do it"
Formation #1: Noun + -(이)든 or -(이)든지.
Rule #1: We attach -든(지) to nouns ending in a vowel (without a 받침).
Rule #2: We attach -이든(지) to nouns ending in a consonant (with a 받침).
Example - 1. "Either coffee or water": hint (keopideun mulideun or keopideunji mulideunji)
커피든 물이든 or 커피든지 물이든지
Formation #2: Verb Stem + 든 말든 / +든지 말든지.
Example - 2. "whether or not you go": hint (gadeun maldeun or gadeunji maldeunji)
가든 말든 or 가든지 말든지
3. "either you or me": hint (neodeun nadeun or deodeunji nadeunji)
4. "either a boy or a girl": hint (a-deulideun ddalideun or a-deulideunji ddalideunji)
5. "either bread or a snack": hint (ppang-i-deunji gwajadeunji)
6. "whether or not you drink it": hint (masideunji maldeunji)
7. "whether or not you come": hint (odeun maldeun)
